A few days ago, I was invited on Facebook to a nation wide "Law Enforcement Support Challenge" event. The event was created to show the law enforcement officers in your area support and appreciation. Some of the suggestions that were posted on the event page are: Dropping off a card at the station with a simple "thank you, we support you.", giving them cookies, or sending a pizza or dinner.
A simple gesture of kindness will go a long way. Lets all come together and show the individuals that protect and serve us how much we appreciate their sacrifice. And everything that they do for us on a daily basis.
